Rob Schmidt

Rob Schmidt is the Director of Information Technology for Hathersage.

Rob brings to Hathersage over a dozen years of experience in information technologies, having founded and headed Utopian Constructs, a consultancy that provided information technology solutions to businesses in the arts, publishing and financial sectors, from 1994 until 2008.

In 1986, Rob moved to New York, to start Schmidt Bingham Gallery, a 57th Street gallery that presented contemporary American artists. In addition, Rob provided active support and leadership for various organizations in the arts and entertainment industry in the years following.

From 1980 until 1986, Rob was employed by Schlumberger Ltd. as an engineer providing technical services to the petroleum industry in the Middle and Far East.

Rob Schmidt attended Oriel College, Oxford, England where he read Physics and earned a BA from the University of Oxford.
