A New Roadmap for Managing FX Risk and Return:
Presentation available as PDF document: click to download Professional trustees, who have the responsibility for pension investments, discussed how difficult it was to get advice and education, particularly for the small fund. Some of the issues discussed included the lack of accountability on the part of investment consultants and the complexity of new investment offerings. It was agreed that the Dutch Pensions had the best models for liabilities and risk management and that absolute return management, as opposed to benchmark management, was needed for funds to meet their goals and objectives.
